I think my hat’s too tight!
I thought my green hat loom was feeling unloved, set up there in the basket, unused, and lonely.
So I thought I would give it some company. Mabye I am avoiding all those UFO’s flying around my living room. Mabye I just wanted a cute little hat to match my sweater! Mabye I was just feeling fickle and wanted to try something new.. Mabye it was the endless monotony of trying to sort through Ebay postings to find that one that would win me $1000! Whatever it was, here is the result!
What’s missing you say.. what’s missing.. is it the cute little pom pom that cheerily stands at attention atop the hat.. no.. is it the ear flaps? no.. its that annoying bunching and gathering of fabric at the top of almost every loom knitted hat I have made thus far!
I have grounded the gather!! It’s gone! I am most pleased.. though I think the hat is too tight and it has gone to my head!
Ah well, it will fit one of the children!Oh dear.. then I might just have to make one for myself!
