Well for those of you who don’t do french, Chez d’eau means house of water. Which mean (yes Brian, I have done it again) I have had yet another laundry room flood!

    This is getting old.
    ugh

The cuplrit? This lovely little battle top that is the perfect size to wedge itself into the launry sink drain!

    Dang it!

    Well for the record!
    1. I checked the pockets!
    2. I checked the laundry sink!

After an exhausting detailed investigation including the grilling several possible perpetrators 5 minute Sherlock Holmsian investigation I fleshed out the mystery!

The top had been left on Julian’s blue blanket. The blue blanket had gotten milk spilled on it this morning and had been scooped up and placed in the laundry basket by me a nameless innocent party. Said blanket has NO pockets to check and therefore the top entered the wash undetected. The top then was sucked up the water tube into the sink! There it’s perfect drain plugging size and shape were used to it’s FULL potential to foil a poor witless woman me! UGH!

You know, before I had children I never overflowed the laundry sink. Ah the joys of parenthood!

    Just for fun!

    Wo me?

You appear to be a Knitting Adventurer.
You are through those knitting growing pains and
feeling more adventurous. You can follow a
standard pattern if it’s not too complicated
and know where to go to get help. Maybe you’ve
started to experiment with different fibers and
you might be eyeing a book with a cool
technique you’ve never tried. Perhaps you
prefer to stick to other people’s patterns but
you are trying to challenge yourself more.
Regardless of your preference, you are
continually trying to grow as a knitter, and as
well you should since your non-knitting friends
are probably dropping some serious hints, these
    days.
