Well my parents just left for the airport so things should get back to normal around here. It is difficult to homeschool with an audience and running commentary! I do things differently, not their way so…there is that constant stress. Not to mention not really getting any knitting done.. but hey the house is clean!And the fridge and freezer are full.. (Dad loves to grocery shop and cook!!)

I got this done last night after Mom helped me de-ply the yarn! I had it knit up in half a poncho for the booklet proposal but I unraveled it and it is being repurposed!

Here is a real picture of the dancing grannies hat pre-felting! I should be able to get it in the washer for a go-round tommorrow.

Now off to knit and relax a bit before I figure out what is for dinner!

Well my birthday has come and gone.. and now we are 36..

It was a nice weekend. The rain stopped, the sun came out. there were sheep, and alpaca, and horses and picnics.

Fun was had by all..

A little birthday cash that will come in handy next weekend at the Great Lakes Fiber Show and Sale. (if anyone is going let me know!! I will be there Saturday afternoon) I am taking Annie Modesitt’s class there, Cables without needles.. Thought it was appropriate! I think the class attendance is low.. so you could probably still get in some if you’re nice..
