Here it is a little finished object.
I think that the wider toe part needs to be shorter but then I have stubby little toes.What timing eh? Just in time for me to put away the sandals!

Did you see that! Isela is pickin on me!! MOOOOOOMMMM!!! She said at least one of you is creating something around here!! This is the new Romance yarn that Lion Brand just came out with. They sent it to me in a goodie box! And I am working on this: A little something from a request by Connie.. she sends me yarn.. she likes me.. nanny nanny boo boo! 3oz of over-spun super bulky alpaca yarn….

Pretty cool! (like the new couch?) Hope is not a plan… But a plan is in place! On the eve of the one year anniversary of Hurricane Katrina there is a plan in place to get permanent replacement homes for those in the little nearly forgotten town of Pearlington MS. The knitty gritty details are at Purls of Hope my charity site! The short story is that we now have a non profit organization to donate to specifically to build houses for the residents before the FEMA deadline hits and pulls the trailers out from under their feet and over their heads! Donations should be sent to: The Pearlington Project Katrina Foundation, Inc. Please keep posted for some fundraising info .. Also if you make a donation please email me so I can add it to our total!! I wanna keep track of how much we are bringing in. *I had to pinch myself when I saw the address! I knew she was in the area.. but right in The Yarn Show Mecca!! woo hoo! On August 29th, many restraunts are offering to donate a portion of your dining costs to aid in the still much needed relief for recovery from Hurrican Katrina!
