The aye’s have it!..well almost!
Here you go my voters! A sneek peek at the first of two baby items that I am working on for all of you who voted!
I have a Test knitter working on trying my pattern out and will get it to you all as soon as possible!But I am not even finished with the edging yet!
I’m finding myself drawn to traditional quilt type designs lately. I am also finding inspiration right under my nose! I have an afghan square design on the backburner of my brain inspired by one of my grandmother’s quilts that is hanging on a quilt rack in my room.
What inspiration do you have right around you? Be sure to keep your eyes wide open to the ordinary everyday things, and you will be inspired too!

I finally got around to blocking my Dragon Wings Shawl! However my parents are on their way here so I need to guest bed tonight!So to keep it portable I am using my box from my spinning wheel covered with a wet pad.. Not bad!

And I am not complaining!
I got my final package from my One Skein angel today.. woo hoo! It was packed full of goodies!
First off some skeins.. yeah.. two not one!And a couple of the stitch markers..
Then there was this lovely Merino Top..
Then this colorful Corredale roving from a great farm in upstate NY!

You can check out my angelic pal over at Fiber Follies..(I’ve known who she was for a while..but shh don’t tell her!) She pretends to be a quixotic crumugeon but really she’s just a teddy bear inside! And I am slowly but surely turning her to the dark side of knitting.. knitting without needles!

NASA has delayed tomorrow’s landing of the space shuttle Atlantis after engineers spotted a mystery object outside the shuttle; weather at the Florida landing site also is a concern.

Potty talk
I have on more child to potty train. He’s doing alright at it. He is getting there at his own pace. Yesterday he had his Batman underwear on and had a little accident and they needed to go in the wash. This morning instead of a pull up he wanted his Batman underwear.. I hadn’t gotten it in the wash yet so I couldn’t let him wear them. He tried to be very helpful. “Moooom you have to turn on the washer!” Said he..
Well I agreed and said I would do it in a little bit. Then a few minutes later I was talking to him and I said I needed to go potty, well he wanted to be helpful again, “Mooooom, you have to pull down your pants and hold up your shirt!” said he.. then he ran into the bathroom and lifted up the toilet lid and the seat so I could go potty.. isn’t he helpful?!!
Avast! It be talk like a pirate day.. so here is me entry in Piratese..
