Setting up my new digs

Well I finally got my new computer.  It’s pretty nice.  In fact I am talking to it instead of typing.  So now instead of typing web log entries I can just speak them into the computer.  It’s pretty cool.

So far it’s working pretty well.  Had a little glitch this morning, the microphone was working but it wasn’t hearing me.  Hopefully soon all get everything transferred over, and I can let Azia have the other computer all to herself!

So this should be quite interesting, a little know how it goes.  For now I’m still dealing with the big hole in the yard so don’t get worried if I don’t have many blog entries next week.

In knitting news, I’m free to work on whenever I want for now which means I have no idea what to do.  I’m doing a little work on Julian’s sweater.  I am also working on Brian’s sweater, I have started the cable section and it looks very nice.

The kids like to stand behind me and try to make a funny words come up on the screen when I’m talking to the computer, this makes it challenging to type anything this way.  And they need to go back into their schoolwork before I take away their computer time for the rest of the day!!!

A girl can dream can’t she?

Ahhh only 4 more days and this is mine.. mine, mine; I tell you…

Hmmm.. maybe the stink from the big gaping hole is getting to my brain?

Believe it when I see it..

Well the hole is still there. The sewage guy was out last night. He is sending the plumber over today. The insurance guy was out this morning, he is sending an engineer to determine the cause of the collapse hopefully today or tommorrow. Are you catching a theme here?

Looks like we are getting the water and sewer both done, and the water will come through my coat closet downstairs then up and over the hallway (the ceiling needs to be pulled out and replaced anyway due to the ole Chez d’eau incidents) So it’s cool.

Things are coming together. We have so excellent and fair financing lined up, if you ever need a small loan.. go to CitiBank they are the best!

Between schlepping landscaping rocks around I have been able to get some work done on the front of Brian’s sweater.

I like it! Thank you Louann for the pattern!!  I am doing a loom knitting presentation tonight at my guild. Which is a lot less organized than I wanted it to be I was hoping to have my tablet pc to work up some handouts for that and my class by now.. and the  news on that front is that I got a notice that my Tablet PC shipped today… though the tracking number they gave me does nothing and the money is still in the bank. So we shall see.

Just Popping in!

To say Ree won a Bloggie!! One of my favourite blogs.. if you haven’t been to Confessions of a Pioneer Woman go run fast! Still dealing with a hole in the yard.. looks like we are going to hook up the water and the sewer while we are at it!

I say, Is that a big gaping hole in your yard?

Why yes it is..why do you ask?

Oh do wait until the fragrance hits you…It’s spectacular! We call it eau de poop..
