    Knitting Board Sweater Failure

It will be back to the drawing board with this one. It’s not so good. Needs to ge reworked with some set in sleeves I think for sure The drop style shoulders are not attractive.

    Authentic Knitting Board Sweater

Oh well. It’s all tuition! Now I can focus on class stuff now that I have gotten seaming this all together out of my system!

My bunny brought me some Lindt chocolate noir for Easter! Bunny you can bring that to me any time!

  • Like Pennies in the Vacuum.. so are the Days of Housewives..

Date: 2007.04.07 | Category: Knitting Without Needles | Response: 4

It’s happened I have hit a doldrum it seems.. I mean tommorrow is Easter and it’s like the holiest day of the year for Christians.. I mean it’s the tops! The day when the big plan all came together.. and I just feel like it’s another day.

Half the time days run into each other and I am really lucky to know what day it is let alone the date. Most of the time I find myself checking my email dates or the date down at the bottom of my computer screen just to be sure because looking at the calendar isn’t quite as reliable.

It must be this bit of extended winter we are having. There was a hint.. well barely a hint of spring and then…BAM…. snow again.. and we are stuck inside doing the same old same old..

So it’s sort of like sucking up a penny in the vacuum cleaner… whoops there goes another one..

  • Giving in to the man.. or is it just getting by?

Date: 2007.04.06 | Category: Knitting Without Needles | Response: 0

Well I just downloaded the Microsoft Office Trial Version. I was trying to get by without it. I was trying Open Office but I just don’t like it, I can’t use my speech recognitions program with it, and I really need to get some things done. So I caved. I have 60 days which should be just enough to get me through making documents for my class and editing articles and patterns for the summer issue of Loom Knitters Circle.  Then who knows. I might just cave in again and buy it. But for now it is enough to get me by!

Really I will get off this gadget techno girl kick and back to knitting very soon! It’s just what has been on my mind… Blame it on Canada..I will explain later.. maybe..

  • Wireless or nearly wireless..

Ahh I went in my closet the other day and there was this electric cord hanging out of the window… (yes I have a window in my nice walk in closet.. REALLY need to knit up a curtain for it!)

    Mysterious electric cord

So I followed it.. and found this..

     Outdoor Office

    Welcome to Brian’s outdoor office.

He was trying to get some work done and we were noisy in the house so out he went!

(too bad it started to sprinkle shortly after I took these shots.)

So today we used the outside office for math class! Fun fun! (maybe a little too much fun!) And really I have been knitting.. I will show you something tommorrow.. ok! It’s been s little stressful this week.. Brian has a lot going on and when he is stressed I am stressed…it’s sympathy stress!!
