How To’s Day: How to Recycle a Sweater

How to’s day iconI talked about recycling sweaters way back on Blog Action Day. You asked for the tutorial, and here it is. How to recycle those nice sweaters you find at the thrift store or the yard sale or whatever! This article was originally found in the Summer issue of Loom Knitters Circle.

It’s a great way to get some cheap yarn if you are knitting on a budget. It’s also a little tiny way to knit green!

Oh… and this inspired me to tear apart one of my sons store bought sweaters that he has out grown. I’m now in the process of making bean bags out of it for him.
