Can this be Talkin' Thursday? Was trying to finish my Christmas Shopping. Funny how my day ended at A.C. Moore and then Borders with yarn and knitting book purchases. A girl's gotta have her yarn fix!

So Denise, I'm armed with your book (I've had it for a while) and now Isela'a Loom Knitting Primer. My big problem -- I have an a-just-a loom so the pegs and yarn weight isn't the same as your patterns. Any tips on the conversion? I have one of the blue Knifty Knitters and have made a couple basic baby hats. Was hoping to be able to use the a-just-a loom to make a variety of things using one multi-purpose loom but so far my attempts haven't had good results.

BTW my other yarn book is 101 Designer One-Skein Wonders. Really cool things. Of course, I'm knitting dish cloths like mad because my Mom, SIL and niece love them. My niece is also expecting my first great nephew so have a poncho done to keep her toasty over the winter. And that baby boy will be fashionable, too. Have his first blanket ready and waiting!!

It's a cold, freezing rain/sleet evening -- perfect knitting weather!!!
