Two Days Before Christmas: a play in one act

The Setting: Our house, after church, on a cold cold wet day.

The Characters: Two Tired parents, 4 kids on a sugar rush, 4 cats, 1 dog.

Dad: [looks tiredly at the Mom] So do you want to cook lunch or clean up after the dog?

Dog: [sits nearby looking guilty]

Mom: [lifts her hand in the international symbol of lets play rock, paper, scissors]

Mom: I won!

Dad: You know you’ve been married 15 years when….
