Frugal Friday: A Little Wenlan Chia, anyone?
Don’t you just love a bargain? Come on you know you do! I played hooky last night from my knitting group (sorry Sara!!) and hit every thrift shop in town. Having grown tired of the usual outfits I have for church, I was in search for something new. I found some good stuff, and here is the find of the night.
This is a XXL 100% wool sweater coat from the GAP. And you know me ALL I saw was YAAARN!!
I have been dying to do some patterns by Wenlan Chia, a.k.a. Twinkle, and this fits the bill! For $8.50 I have enough yarn here to make at least one, if not two sweaters, for half the price of one ball of yarn!
Score!!
And don’t forget to keep leaving me comments about the podcast for the blogaversary contest!! I will be choosing a name out of the hat tomorrow. So give it a listen, and let me know what you think!! I have Brian on the job figuring out how to get past the mean gatekeeper in our Internet router so I can do the live talkcast! So keep checking back for details!
