Loomigurumi!

Taking the cue from the amigurumi method I played and expreimented and here he is.. not really finished as he is a test item.. I was just playing with shaping and this is what happened!

There are no seams on me.. he says.. nope no seams.. a fun little spiraling technique that allows for some neat shaping! I have had fun playing with it and ahhI am planning on putting together a loomigurumi pattern for the next issue of Loom Knitters Circle.. what kind of creature should it be??

Your elephant is very nice. I can’t wait to read about it.

For your next project I suggest a Crumple Horned Snorkack or a Nargle. If you want to try your hand at something a little easier, maybe a Wrackspurt. I read that they are invisible so no one will know if you didn’t quite capture it’s essence ;-D

All kidding aside, koalas are pretty cute. Or maybe an ostrich (fun gangly legs - you know you want to make one)

Have a great day!

OMG! I love amigurumi. To be able to do it on my loom, I believe you’ve made my day. I’m not sure which creature you should make. Maybe start basic with a bear or cat. Although I must second Jenny’s Harry Potter suggestions. I do love me some Harry Potter

Wow .. I’m impressed! I can’t wait to see how it works!

Hmm … a bear or cat are the most obvious suggestions .. I like the koala idea.

I Heart Harry Potter and third the suggestions…but that being said this little elephant is adorable already! Maybe you could even use the technique to make a Monkey?
