I have an interracial family (my husband is black) so I'm familiar with a lot of those foods, although I don't eat all of them. I never liked cornbread until I met him, and now I love it. I still don't like greens (cooked - I love raw greens in a salad) or black-eyed peas though. The only cookbook I really use though is one called "Cheap, Fast, Good!". I love that book!
