Our Virtual Lemonade Stand for ALSF for Childhood Cancer!

Today I am blogging from our REAL lemonade stand at the end of our driveway. It’s sunny and warm but it is still a SLOOOOW day. We are out here raising money for Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation  for Childhood Cancer.  K12, the company that does the curriculum for our school, the Ohio Virtual Acadamy, organized a nationwide fundraiser! The foundation is in honor of Alex Scott, a little girl who when she was 4 years old had just overcome a bout of cancer and wanted to help other kids with cancer. She started a lemonade stand and raised money and caught the eye of national media which helped her cause. She has since succumbed to her cancer, and the foundation and kids all around the country carry on in her name.

The kids are all involved! Check out the stand they set up!

We would love to extend the opportunity for our online friends to be involved with our lemonade stand! Now, we can’t really get a nice cool glass of lemonade to you, we can give you the opportunity to contribute to this great cause.

Please click on the button below to donate via Paypal, and I will take all the donations an send them in, you can even use a credit card even if you don’t have a Paypal account.

Or you can donate by sending a check to:

Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation

Wynnewood, PA 19096

Or you can donate by other methods through the Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation website!

Leave us a comment if you donate, and let us know how much so I can keep track of it for the kids! And raise a glass of nice cold lemonade wherever you are, so we can help wipe out childhood cancer one cup at a time!
