A Drive up the Coast
Today we drove up the coast of O’ahu. It is a beautiful place! Our first stop was Pele Point. The site of an epic battle between King Kamehameha and the kings of the other islands waged to unite the islands under his rule.
We spotted a geocache box while we were there for letter boxers! Nice find!!
Next stop a very nice beach at Waimea Beach Park. It was very scenic!
Brian had a load of fun jumping off the big rock there. I just stayed on shore and documented the fun.
We stopped at a macadamia nut orchard had a nice snack of macadamia nuts and found the Kauloa Ranch, where they film LOST and other shows like Jurrasic Park. The plan is to go back on Saturday for a horseback tour of the ranch.
I found a few other LOST filming sites.. it’s a fun little scavenger hunt, I will put that all in one post..
More Later! Aloha!
