Saturday Sky.. a great day for a parade!
Today was our local Lion’s Club Festival and parade.. the day the whole town gathers by the road side to become deaf..
And see everyone in the whole town march or ride down the street…
Get wooed by politicians…
And get enough candy thrown at us to tide us over till Halloween!
Then we ride rides..
See friends and have fun!
And we had the perfect Saturday sky for it..
Don’t you think?

You are so funny! How true - you CAN go deaf at those parades. Sounds like a really fun day : )
Looks like such a good time! I miss the parade in my last town - I loved the high school marching bands the best.
Aw man — you make me homesick for Canal Days in Canal Fulton, OH. It was the BEST 18 months of my life. Small town parades, games, cakewalks. Performing with the church music group. All usually preceeded by tornado warnings, the Erie Canal flooding…ah the memories!
Awww - I love hometown parades and fairs. Looks like the perfect recipe for a fun family summer weekend.
; )
Those are the best! I hate big theme parks, but I love small fairs with a few rides that are small enough to do in an afternoon. Sounds like a great time for all!
