Sunday With the Sheep

We had a surprise invite to dinner at our friends house. She lives at the little house with sheep that I ALWAYS wanted to stop at.. but wasn’t sure it was her place..

See the pretty Cheviot sheep! And she does nothing with the fleeces.. just chucks them. I might have to do something about that! She keeps saying her sheep’s wool is to coarse.. but it turns out it’s actually a good medium grade wool resistant to felting so it’s great for kettle dyeing, and good for beginning spinners!

Hmmm….
