We were working hard making pumpkin rolls, and muffins and salad for tomorrows carry in dinner at church when suddenly….
SMOKE!!!!!
My Dad was cooking earlier in the day, and my good oven mitts were in his way.
He tossed them into the oven!!
I not knowing this turned the oven on to preheat it and cooked said oven mitts…
Now that spiced up my Saturday a bit!!

I tried this once too. Except I put it on a burner that hadn’t quite cooled. Came back to a nice little fire on my stove top! Yikes!!! Put that baby right in the sink in a hurry. And the house smelled for a few days. I like to keep things exciting around here
