Isn’t this Leap Day?
Many of you know I joined Blog 365 at the begining of the year. A commitment to blog every day for a year, except in this case it was a leap year, so we were supposed to get a day off.
Well I blogged on leap day, so I am determining that this is my leap day. So I am here blogging about not blogging..

Classy Mommy Monday!
Last year at the Blog World Expo, Brian and I got the chance to play with a Wii. It was FUN! I immediately thought that this would be the thing that might just break us down on the no game console line of thought. A year and a half later.. we still don’t have one. I still think it would be fun to!

Progress Report from Sleeve Island!
Well you saw the other sweater on Sharon ( I should have titled that post ‘Pin Up Model’) Perhaps I should rename her Sugar. (Whoever can guess that reference?)
In any case. I have one sleeve finished for Brian’s sweater
The other one is started and will move beyond the cuff tonight.
I need a break from the sample sock knitting!

Saturday is for Sewing
Today the sewing machine was pulled out of the closet, and brought out into the light of day! (Yes I do have a sewing machine.. it’s been tucked under the yarn stash!)
I had a little fun trying out stitches and it went well. Of course my Mom was there looking over my shoulder scaring the sewing machine into submission!
Now if I had only had the right color of thread I would have some pants that are the right length! That will have to wait!

Done except for the seams.
I nearly didn’t get to finish this! I got the the cap shaping on the second sleeve, and poof the pattern disappeared! If it were not for the mercy of the designer I would not have gotten it finished! She gave me the directions for the cap shaping over the phone then later on, emailed me a copy of the pattern!!
TOTALY AWESOME!

SHHHH They’re Sleeping!
I just finished my second sleeve for my cardigan. But I can’t seam everything together because the rest of the sweater is in the guest room, and my parents are back.. and sleeping!
That’s ok. I need to get back to work on the socks for Knit Picks.. Ah no!!! That is up in the guest room too! EEK! hmm.. Time to start a new project I guess! MWAH HAHAHHA!
Hmm That won’t work because again, all my main supplies are in the guest room. Grr..
AHA! I have some yarn down here to work on Brian’s other sleeve. Perhaps I can work my way off of sleeve island by the end of November!!
Off to work I go!
