Knitting Without Needles

Ok.. he isn’t wearing a mask.

It’s Joe Raffino of South West Trading Company.

He was the special guest at the Yarnia knit in public event! Apparently Joe has been regularly kicked out of the house for weeks at a time to travel around the country with a suitcase of women’s knitted garments, and yarn samples! These are not your ordinary yarn samples.. no sir.. they are yarns made of soy and corn and crab shells and such! And they are all very nice. 

What a life..

The knit out was fun, and while I was there I grabbed a blocking wire set. With all the shawls I have been working on lately it will be a great tool to have.

I ran to the library to grab a book for Azia, so she can er.. finish literature class for the year, and was pleasantly suprised to find the knitting group there. I knew they met there, but I am always too busy to go when they meet. So it was nice to run into them! . . . → Read More: I’ll be home soon…there were knitters at the library!
