I was working on reading with Julian my 8 year old and this was in the lesson.

It is interactive and you can click on the words so they are read to you. Guess which one he kept hitting twice.

I don’t know who came up with the combination of sight words for this lesson, but hey, it gave my 8 year old unwilling reader a little motivation. And gave us all a little laugh!

I just don’t seem to know any more! With my work week being from Thursday –Monday it throws me off a bit! But it’s going well! Tonight is the first night I felt really pretty confident! Hopefully that is a trend that will keep up!

I have been knitting, still need to dig up some pics. of my summer knitting. Some of the stuff I am working on now I cant show you… yep mysterious secret projects on top of working full time and homeschooling.

Why yes I am clinically insane! Why do you ask?

  • 8 Days Straight!

Date: 2010.10.12 | Category: Knitting Without Needles | Response: 0

I have finally reached my weekend after working 8 days straight! (nine if you count the hour I worked from midnight to 1 this morning) I have today and tomorrow off so it’s my weekend!

I have shifted into my new work schedule and so far it is going pretty well! Its challenging and aside from the last two hours of my shift last night, the time goes quickly!

I just finished up a pair of socks for KnitPicks.. another challenge! Unfortunately in my rush to get them out the door I didn’t get a picture of them! Look for a nice lacy teal pair of socks in the next catalog though!! They were very challenging at first but the pattern was actually easily remembered so by the second sock It went alot faster!

I will have to see what photos I have of my summer knitting and get those posted!

But now, since my training is over and I am home during the day, it is back to teacher duty!

    Later!

Paying the bills…

Coming April 13th

I use it, and love it!
