Iris' Knitting Loom and Knitting Board Hobby

I love to knit on round knitting looms and on knitting boards

Hi. I'm Iris. I discovered a wonderful and fun hobby. It's knitting on round knitting looms and on flat knitting boards (also called Knitting Rakes). The LINKS here will lead you to Web Pages which will explain all about this wonderful hobby. Remember those knitting spools many children (and others) use to make knitted cord (called by many names, including: French Knitting & Corking)? The same process applies to the wider and larger circular looms and also to the flat knitting boards. Another name for this type of knitting is called PEG KNITTING.
I find this to be a fun and relaxing hobby. I also do hand weaving on small looms and on frame looms. This Web Site will grow as I find more information and links on this subject.
UPDATE: with prior permission, I just added a link (scroll down, below) to Dick Robinson's great, excellent, and clear instructions (with photos) on "how to make your own knitting board". I am NOT a wood crafter, and I DON'T make my own knitting boards or knitting looms, but some of you want to know how to make your own knitting tools, so I will add these type of site links if the site owners give me prior permission to list their sites here, as links. How you use all the web sites listed here as links, are between you and the site owners.
~Enjoy~
