someone gave me sock yarn, but it is not in a ball?? it is like two pieces in a square together and you pull yarn as you knit with # number 2 circular. haveyou ever seen this, she left and never told me about other then each square makes a sock. please tell me where you would get that or what do you know about it. thanks so much Joan

Hmm....there was a traveling Christian group that sang and played hand made instruments something like that (we saw them in Nebraska). Is that where it came from???

Whatever it is, it's cool! I'm crazy for instruments, too.

Hmmm....I was wondering where you've been!
I have a 1950's era knitting machine with instructions written in German, and an Ultimate Sweater Machine lurking in the layers of the Garage. Since learning to needle knit I haven't been the least bit interested in getting to know either machine. I knew a lady that would bang out a 2-piece woman's custom suit in a weekend on her machines, but that kind of production knitting never interested me. It seems too much like work!

Hi Brenda,
Homespun is GORGEOUSLY soft! You will see when you go to buy it! I Picked one ball up out of the bin and walked away with 7(!) because it is so lovely and dreamy soft! I have read that it works well with the KK round Looms

The other day, while I was at work, my cousin stole my iPad and tested to see if it can survive a 25 foot drop, just so she can be a youtube sensation. My apple ipad is now destroyed and she has 83 views. I know this is entirely off topic but I had to share it with someone!

my pattern is as follows, [SSK, K2,(YO,K1)8X,K1, K2TOG] AND THIS IS SUPPOSE TO BE 15 STITCHES. WHEN I DO WHAT I THINK I AM SUPPOSE TO DO IT TURNS OUT TO BE 21 STITCHES. WHAT AM I DOING WRONG?
