Shell Shock

We were on our way home from Rhinebeck when we got the call. My sister in law’s older brother took his life. My family and her family have known each other all our lives.. I can’t remember not knowing them.. He has been struggling with issues since he was young. I am just so sad that it has ended like this.  I have already started a prayer shawl for his mom, who has been one of my ‘extra’ moms for a long time!
