Blogging in the Dark…
Well the power went out. Seems the pole down at the end of the street got hit by lightening or something. The big branch that was hanging loose above the swingset fell and brought it’s friend down with it.
Guess I can stop fussing over that.

I can top that one! This past Saturday at about 9:30 at night an ultralite glider struck a power line just up the road from us. We were without power for nearly 6 hours. We heard the ultralite go by and then all of a sudden our power went out. We looked outside and the power lines were shaking like mad on the poles! It knocked out power in 4 counties! The guy survived!
