There are worms in my refridgerator!

EEK!
Yep it must be time the kids like to go drown some poor unsuspecting worms at a local waterway with Brian! Or could it be that we just listened to the story How to Eat Fried Worms on our trip out the the picnic in Pa?

(by the way.. if you haven’t read that book since becoming a parent.. you need to! It takes on a whole different meaning! )

Not much to report in the knitting realm.
This week will be very busy! Vacation Bible school for the kids in the morning. Wrapping up the last bits of classwork in the afternoon, a school trip to the zoo tommorow. And telemeetings with the publisher! YACK!! Someone send me a fresh breeze at the end of the week!

I did get the Sonoma Shrug pattern from Briar Rose. I am going to try it out and see how it goes with one strand vs. two. It’s not your traditional ‘shrug’ it is more like a short poncho no sleeves involved here! The design is really pretty and really suites the yarn!

I think I am going to have to do some serious needle shrinking to get even close to gauge. But hey Chris was soo nice sending it to me!! Thanks Chris!

The big news in town is that the police station was hit by lightening this morning! The noise nearly made me jump out of bed!
No wonder I have been hearing helicoptors all day! The news helicopters have been out taking video of it!

Yikes!
Here is the story!
