I am trying a new thing on my knitting board. I am hoping, I say, hoping to get this done and submitted by October 20th to a knitting magazine. The thing is with knitting boards it’s hard to tell how your peice is turning out. The pegs and the base all serve to block your progress from sight and you really can’t tell how it is going till it progresses a pretty good distance. The only other way to tell is to take your peice out of the loom and look.
I did.
It wasn’t quite what I was expecting.
Made some changes to my design.
And it looks like I have something here!

Will work more later.
The other thing is this is looking dark in the photos. So I might have to switch to a lighter colour! Whaddya think Aran? or Periwinkle?
Last night, well there was a nice fire in the fire place making the living room cozy.
So we put the kiddos to bed and I worked on a sock.
On two needles.
Yeah..
Look Isela, no loom!

Hey this is pretty cool!
Here are my students hard at work! (excuse the clutter!)

Can you tell it is a rather dark and cloudy day? Oh well I have a knice fire going to keep us toasty!
