Seeing how my yarn has suffered an insurmountable injury, I will be abandoning my original knitting project for the olympics.

I will have a new goal.

My new goal is 16 swatches. I plan to work out 8 texture knits using my 450 Knit Stitches book, and my 365 Stitches calendar. I will first make a needle knit swatch of the texture and then work out a loom knit translation swatch. And write up directions for the loom knit version!

If anyone who loom knits would like to join the loom knitters olympic team please steal a button and put it on your site!

I might manage to make a list of parcipitants so if you plan to join up email me with your blog address, or just email me and let me know.. and I will add your name to the list!

Wow. That’s an interesting thought. I was going to do a hand project, but I couldn’t wait and already started it. My knitting machine (are you counting them as knitting looms?) is desperately calling for attention after a couple of years of neglect. Hmmm.

Will the handknitters recognize our sport? Will they allow us to compete in the games, or does this count as doping?

Hmmm, another button for my bloggy–I am sooooo totally in!! Now, can we do both, loom and knit? I have to loom and knit some hats/mittens for the Dulaan Project–can I be in this too? Preeeety pleaseee.
