It is also translating VERY well to the loom. I have half the loomed swatch done already to. Which means I am ahead!
I got my Purls of Hope package out the door last night. It actually spilled into two packages and there could have been more, but my boxes had their limits.I should be getting my blanket squares from Kimberli soon so I will have another one going out next week.
I have been feeling rather introspective about the whole thing. What with those thousands of mobile homes sitting idle. And the people down in Pearlington and other little towns still living in tents! And yet more being kicked out of housing they have. It irks me. Move the trailers to where the evacuees are if you can’t put them on the coast! How about Texas or other places where they have retreated to? Millions of dollars spent on that that could have been used to work on clean up and rebuilding right there!, and meanwhile ordinary people like Angela are struggling to make up for the shortfalls of FEMA.. How vexing!
Anyway.. it’s good that I am ahead so I will have some time to join those squares and get them out the door.
