A blog because my husband says to..

The nice thing about working on a knitting loom is that there is nearly no way to accidentally add or drop stitches. This is common when working with needles.. such as this little swatch that I had to frog at least 3 times till I got the mojo going and it finally looked like it was supposed to.

This has put me behind again. That along with shopping for a new baby gate.. a Valentine dinner at church, church the next morning and a trip to Sam’s afterward.. But I am really looking forward to trying it on the loom. I think it will work. At least I understand the physics of it.. AND from what I learned while doing the perforated rib stitch I think I will do fine on this one the first time out..At least I won’t be losing or adding stitches.

And that my friends is a good thing..

I finally saw the movie The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy today..the knit sequence was cute. I need to get on the ball and make  a little something from that.. those of you in the know know what i mean… so let’s keep good ole Capt. Queeg in the dark…

heheheheh

Here are the swatches of colour work from the other day.. the houndstooth pattern works pretty well on the loom..pretty much as written!
