Anyone want a Louet s17 tonight??

My Louet s17 

OH I am trying to decide.. I want a Kiwi spinning wheel here at Rhinebeck but I have a Louet s17 sitting at home and I can’t justify having two!!So I am trying to see if anyone is interested!! If I get a bite tonight or in the morning before I leave then I might just do it! (click the picture for a larger view!)

So here is the deal:

It is a Louet s17, I put a lite clear finish on it. It is very gently used and looks brand new.

3 bobbins standard with it.

I will sell it for $189.00 + shipping. It retails for from $285-over $300.. so this is a really good deal.

PLEASE ENABLE ME!!!

Seriously this is a nice beginner wheel. I will take it mostly apart to ship to you so that it should be odvious how to re-assemble it. Though I am pretty sure I have the assembly directions filed away I am not 100% sure, and I am up here i NY so I can’t look!

    Great wheel, but I’m out of buying at least til the most recent wheel is paid off! Credit cards are such enablers-til the statement arrives, ouch! I mentioned this else where so maybe maybe you’ll get your new wheel…

    What a pretty wheel and I’d love it but my drop spindle and walking wheel (yup, that big wheel was an impulse purchase and haven’t a clue how to use it after two years) are teasing me right now saying “are you out of your mind! You can’t even master us!” Ah, one of these days.

    Might as well give you my guess for all those ends — looks like 97 to me. haha

    Whatever it is that’s a lot of weaving to do but the yarn looks pretty.
