howtosday-icon-thumb I am actually in the middle of a how to project. But it is for Loom Knitters Circle’s summer one skein and stash busting issue! So sorry, you will have to wait for this one! The issue is shaping up to look like fun though!!

Anyway.. in the mean time.. if you have any how to questions.. let me know!

So back to how to make dinner out of a strange conglomeration of ingredients.. mostly pork chops! Got any ideas on that?? Let see.. I have some mashed potato mix and corn bread mix.. dried cranberries and walnuts.. anyone??

Let’s see. My family loves my pan seared pork chops. I coat them lightly in a little flour, corn meal, salt, pepper and hot paprika (might want to go easy on this with little guys). I them pan fry them in a little olive oil and butter. Dried cranberries and walnuts would be great in corn meal muffins.

Our local Salvation Army holds their annual Fabric and Yarn Sale over the next four days. The yarn is usually amazing since quite a bit is donated from our local yarn shop. Not that I need more to add to my stash — wait, it’s for a worthy cause, right!! Lots of fun and you never know what they will have so will keep you posted.

  2. I’m trying a new recipe this weekend with pan broiled pork chops and an apricot glaze. Unfortunately it doesn’t list any of your other ingredients. I suppose you could do a cranberry glaze….hold on (googling)….Hey, good news! there is such a thing at allrecipes.com

  3. Mmmm! I think we should go to Debbie’s for dinner 🙂 (and Kathy’s next week…)
