Knitting Without Needles

There has been some little knitting going on here! Really, after all this is a knitting blog isn’t it?

I have some little things to show..this swatch..

Then this little tiny swatch of Tofutsies! Oh it’s pretty yarn and it works quite well with the EFG sock looms. I have something fun planned for it, I will get started on the real sock today!

Plus I started a Honeycomb Beanie hat, I was going to make it for me, but I think it will end up on the hat tree at church.

I am seeing a color theme here that is concerning.. I am so not a pink person. It just happens that all the scrappy bits of yarn I have are pink!

Today is Julian’s birthday! He is 5!! I can’t believe it! My little guy is 5!

I lovet his picture.. its a little old but it’s cute. Some real birthday pictures tommorrow!

PS> Go over to Pumpkin Knits and give her some ideas to get that baby out!!!! My guess was that she would have that baby today.. I am still the closest no matter what happens at this point cause no one else guessed this late! So give the new little PumkinBaby a great day for a birthday!!

I had a little time over the holiday to just sit.. You know in between all the sickness and commotion and utter lack of need to cook, I had some down time!

So I got to play around a bit on the computer with some software that I got in the computer upgrade, and I came up with an idea for a loom knitting t shirt.

So then I played around at Cafe Press, and came up with a few items that you loom knitters might like!But before I told you all about it I decided to get one shirt for myself and see how they really look.

Not bad! In fact what I really like.. is that they messed up and sent me two! Yep.. the BBT pulled up to the house, and out ran the delivery person with two packages from them, both with the identical product, and identical invoice! Hmmm….So drop by and see if there is anything you like! And let me know if there is anything you would like! I am going to be working on a second image, and hopefully figuring out how to get mugs!

Well. We tried to watch Monster House tonight. Between the cats attacking my yarn in my current projects organizer in the living room, and Caleb being scared I didn’t get to really watch it with the rest of the family.

It’s pretty intense for kids younger than 5.But fun for the rest of us.

So I just hung out with Caleb till he fell asleep.

I am done with my sample knit for Knit Picks. Hopefully you will see it in one of their upcoming cataloges. Pretty cool! I have been playing with some new stitch ideas on the looms I was hoping to work on it tonight more but that plan got squashed!
