I seem to be about new knitting stuff this week! The new show Knit and Crochet Today started on our local PBS station this morning. I didn’t get up at 7 a.m. to watch it.. that’s what God invented DVR’s for!! I did get a chance to watch it just now. The first show was on felting.. I really liked the interview with Nicky Epstein.. Though the show was a little hokey..I do think it has potential.

 Look it up on your local PBS station and tell me what you think!! Perhaps if we loom knitters unite we can get a loom knitting episode on this show as well!!!

    I just saw the first knitting tv show. I’m not sure it does it for me. How do you like it? I’m up that early… so I could definitely catch it with no problem. Hmmmm. Maybe….

    Hi Denise,

    I’m the producer of Knit & Crochet Today and I agree with you….the first “few” episodes are a little hokey. We were under a time crunch and it took us a little while to get things rolling. But please hang in there, it gets better and better. By the way, I’m thinking about the next episodes and would love to include loom knitting.

    I really like your show. I’m a new (& slow) crocheter, so I really like to play it back & try to do what I see. It’s real people & I love how they take stitches out & do it again! I try not to miss an episode. Thanks for a great show!
