Who Moved my Chocolate?

Yesterday my husband wanted a little alone time with me.. He lured me upstairs with the promise of some chocolate in the form of a Special Dark Hershey bar he had hidden up stairs..I fell for it..

When we got upstairs  the chocolate was no where to be found… I of course lost interest, the children came pouring into the room, and then my husband dissapeared..

He reappeared shortly (with the van keys in his hand and a chocolate bar hidden behind his back hmm did I mention Rite Aid is like right down at the end of our street?) and proceeded to kick the children out, and pretend to find the chocolate bar which he had ‘hidden’ up in a jewelry box on our closet shelf..

Where..

He found one of the original chocolate bars he had hidden!!

I laughed so hard!

It was so funny!

Of course after that we did manage to get a little alone time..

Love you Brian!

EWWW – I log on expecting to find pics of my nieces and nephews, knitting stuff – and what do I get??? Reading about my brother spending ‘alone time’ with his wife…EWWWWWWW 🙂

  3. Awww, what a sweet guy! I love those Special Dark chocolate bars! CVS drugstores sell them in a pack of 10 mini bars for $1.29 (or sometimes .99 cents on sale)! I have to stock up when it goes on sale~

  4. I’ve found that one of the keys to a successful marraige is to supply the “unexpected”. Whether it’s something like buying the original chocolate bar (which I did lose somwhere after we ate half of it) or just somehow “finding” it again at the right moment.

(She never did notice that the lost candybar that I’d “accidentally found again” was somehow miraculously whole and that there were actually two new candy bars on the RiteAid receipt.) 😉 Love you ‘niser
