Wow this is here a whole day early! Which makes me very happy! Now I have some reading for the trip too!
My Knitpicks order

I don’t dare open this book today! I will totally get sucked into the cool knitting vortex it is sure to create and never come out again to clean up the house! And I hate coming home from vacation to a messy house!! Off to give Caleb a breathing treatment! Looks like we are going to have to lug the nebulizer along with us!! Oh well. Just a little bit more to pack!

Edited to add: Oh dang it! I looked.. I opened it.. my head is already about to explode with ideas just from looking at  a few of the photos!! I’m DOOOOMED!!!!!

    Safe travels and have a wonderful visit. Sounds like you have lots of knitting goodies to keep you occupied on the way.

    Had fun yesterday. Finally stopped by the local yarn shop to spend the gift certificate my son gave me for my birthday.

    Bought pretty sock yarn and a pattern so am venturing into the double point world again. So far so good. Have a couple inches done already and happy to report no “ladders.”

    I wish that I could make myself get into making socks. But as of yet I just think about it. I have so many projects going that I don’t think I will ever run out. I am retired and thought that I would have tons of time but not true. good luck with your socks. Elaine
