Triangulation and Other Modular Knitting Fun!

So, there hasn’t been too much knitting around here lately. Well that is because there hasn’t been a lot of knitting around here lately..

I did do a mitered square project that will be in the upcoming issue of Loom Knitters Circle. Mitered squares are amazingly easy on looms, especially if you have an adjustable loom. So keep an eye out for that.

So naturally I decided to play a little more with miters and modular knitting. The great thing about it is that there are NO SEAMS!

So what have I been playing with? Triangles of course!!

This is fun!

Now I get to use my paper mockups to see what the next step is!

  1. (clapping hands) Oh goody! 🙂 I was wondering if mitered squares were possible on a loom. I don’t know enough about needle knitting to know how to attempt them on a loom – but that is all about to change. I learned to cast on, knit and purl today!!! Yay me! (and Yay you, of course :D)

  2. Oh, I’m SO GLAD you’re going to share with us about mitered squares!!! I’ve had these project ideas kicking around for a while, and I haven’t had the time to figure them out so that I can work those ideas from my brain to the loom. You’re just FAB, darlin’! 😉

  3. By the way…when is that LKC issue going to be making it’s debut??? 🙂

  4. That looks totally cool! What are you going to make? Can’t wait to see!

  9. Something to use up my miles and miles and miles of alpaca yarn I am spinning, perhaps?

  10. Wonderful! I was wondering how to do mitered squares on the loom. Can’t wait for the next issue to come out.
